Why is my F9 recovery function not working? How do I make it work?

Solution
F9 recovery function is for ASUS OS recovery. This function is pre-installed on most of ASUS Eee PC devices bundled with OS. If you find the F9 recovery funtion doesn't work, please check your Eee PC as follows:
1. If you have replaced the HDD or re-installed the OS manually, the hidden partition on HDD may be damaged. In this case, the F9 recovery function becomes invalid. Under this circumstance, please contact ASUS local service center.
2. If you haven't replaced the HDD or re-installed the OS, please restart your Eee PC, and press F2 to go into BIOS during boot up. Go to Boot menu, and make the Boot Booster [disabled]. See the screenshot below. If this step still cannot resolve the issue, please contact ASUS local service center.
