I can not use function keys on my Eee PC. How do I resolve this issue?

Solution
Please try the following in the same order.
1. Please update or re-install ASUS KB Filter or ASUS ATK Utility driver. (You can find the drivers on ASUS support site under corresponding model name. Or you can use LiveUpdate to check and update new drivers.)
2. If the function keys still do not work, please make a system recovery by using F9. Please follow the steps below. (Note: backup your data before proceeding with this.)
    2.1 Press F9 key during bootup. (Be sure to connect the AC power adapter to your Eee PC to avoid running out of power during the recovery.)
    2.2 Select the language, and click the arrow button to continue.
    2.3 Click Recovery in the Recovery System dialog box to start the system recovery.
    2.4 The system starts the recovery automatically. Please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the recovery process.
3. If the function keys still do not work, please send the unit to ASUS service center for further testing.
