Recently, I have bought this motherboard to build my new system. There is only one hard drive in the system. After I have completed the OS and driver installations, I tried to use Norton Ghost utility to back up my system image. However, when running Ghost under DOS, I was unable to find any hard drive in the utility. How do I resolve this issue?

Solution
Go to SATA Configuration menu under Advanced in BIOS. Check whether the SATA Mode option is set to the default value, AHCI Mode. Since there is no AHCI or RAID driver under DOS, Norton Ghost utility is unable to recognize the hard drive when SATA Mode is set to either AHCI or RAID Mode. If you would like to use Norton Ghost utility under DOS, please change the SATA Mode option to IDE Mode.
