I installed a Xonar D2/PM into my system. After the installation of the driver and utilities, there is no audio output when playing certain games, such as Silent Hill 5, under Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit. If I switch to the onboard audio card, there is no problem at all. How do I resolve the sound issue with Xonar D2/PM?

Solution
Update the Xonar D2/PM audio driver to version 5.12.8.1776 or later to resolve this issue. Please download from this link: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=Xonar%20D2/PM
