How to set wireless router as “access point mode”?

Solution

1. Please connect wireless router and “Wireless Clients” by cable (wired network line).
Take wireless router—“RT-N10+” as an example.

2. Launch browser and type the link of wireless router’s setting page in website field.
The default link of ASUS wireless router’s setting page is http://192.168.1.1 .
(1) Click “Advanced Setting”
(2) Click “Administration”
(3) Click “Operation Mode”
(4) Select and click “Access Point mode”
(5) Click button—“Save”

3. Please type “Network Name (SSID)” and “Network key” in “Wireless Setting”.
And then, click button—“Finish”.

4. Please wait the wireless router save settings.

5. If you see browser as following, the wireless router set “access point mode” completely.

6. At setting page of wireless router, “Operation Mode” displays “AP”.

7. Please connect wireless router (as “RT-N10+” in following picture) and the upper level router (as “Router” in following picture) by cable (wired network line).
Please confirm the upper level router (as “Router” in following picture) can use the Internet.

※After step7, “Wireless Clients” can connect to RT-N10+ by wireless adapter (wireless network card).
