Troubleshooting :
Set up a wireless network in Windows 7

1.) Before you can set up your wireless network, you'll need the following items :

Broadband Internet connection and modem
Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) and cable are two of the most common broadband connections. You can get a broadband connection by contacting an Internet service provider (ISP).

Wireless router
A router sends information between your network and the Internet. With a wireless router, you can connect computers to your network using radio signals instead of wires. We recommend using a router that supports 802.11g or 802.11n because they are fast and provide a strong wireless signal. You can refer to the wireless router's user manual to setup the Internet connection and wireless connection (including SSID, Security Level &security key, etc )

Wireless network adapter
Network adapter is a device that connects your computer to a wireless network. ASUS Notebook's optional built-in Wireless adapter can be turned on by switching ON the Wireless function ( depend on models ) or pressing < FN > + < F2 > key. When enabled, the wireless status indicator will light.

2.) Connect to a network

a.) Open Connect to a Network by right-clicking the network icon ( or ) in the notification area.

b.) In the list of networks, click the network that you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

c.) Enter the security key.

3.) Manage the Wireless Network

Your saved wireless networks are displayed in Manage Wireless Networks. Right-click the network icon ( or ) and find Manage Wireless Networks in Open Network and Sharing Center. You can drag a network up or down in the list to change the order in which your computer connects to networks or Change the Network properties ( security type, network security key, etc ).
