FAQ

I would like to enable AMD Cool'n'Quiet Technology without knowing how.
Can you please kindly advice on how to do so?

Please kindly follow the instructions below to enable AMD Cool'n'Quiet Technology:

1. Enter CMOS setup screen, and set "Advanced-->CPU Configuration-->AMD Cool'n'Quiet Technology" to [Enabled].
2. Windows XP users, please install the driver from the link below:
http://dlsvr04.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socketAM2/M2N8-VMX/AMD.zip
Driver installation is not required for VISTA users.
3. Set "Power Scheme" to "Max Battery" or "Minimal Power Management".
4. Done
