As far as I know, there are two types of CPU temperature readings, being Tj (Junction Temperature, or die temperature) and Tc (Case temperature, or CPU surface temperature).
Which reading dooes Q'Fan reacts to?

Solution
As recommended by Intel, smart CPU fan speed control should be adjusted based on Tc instead of Tj, ASUS Q'Fan design all follow the same rule, and reacts with respect to the surface temperature of your CPU.
